Description
This Traineeship program in building maintenance provides limited articulation.

It is targeted at remote communities, indigenous and disengaged students, which could include Youths at Risk, in order to provide the skills and abilities which will allow the cohort to work within their own communities.

This training program leads to the completion of the qualification CPC20211 Certificate II in Construction Pathways
Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in:
twelve (12) units of competency:
- six (6) core units
- six (6) elective units.

The elective units are to be chosen as follows:
- no less than four (4) units and up to six (6) units from Groups A to G, with no less than two (2) units from any individual group
- up to two (2) units from Group H
- one (1) unit may be chosen from Certificate I or II qualifications in CPC08 or another current Training Package or accredited course, provided the integrity of the AQF alignment is ensured, and they contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

Note
1. This training program has been created as a pathway of the Training Package Construction, Plumbing and Services (CPC08) qualification code CPC20211 Certificate II in Construction Pathways.

2. Further information on this training program may be obtained from the Construction Training Council or Construction Training Fund on 9244-0100.

3. This is a traineeship program that was originally proposed by Fairbridge for implementation in STARS on 28/5/2009.

4. The program has been created on STARS (24/7/2013) as a replacement for WB48 (CPC20111), which superseded WA78 (CPC20108), which superseded WT96 (BCG20103).
