1 INDUSTRIAL WORK EXPERIENCE
In addition to completing all the above modules the student must complete 200
hours of on-the-job work experience within the Hospitality Industry. Normally
the work experience would be undertaken concurrently with formal study of the
modules.
2 PROJECT ASSIGNMENT
In addition to completing all the above modules and industrial work experience,
the student must undertake industrial work experience to research and complete
an industry based project assignment. Normally this work experience (400
hours) would be undertaken concurrently with formal study of the modules. The
aim of this project is to observe a range of management styles, techniques,
functions and operations, with the report being submitted as the project
assignment.
3 Completion of the two industrial work experience components re
Industrial Work Experience (200 hours) and Project Assignment (400 hours) will
meet the requirements of Module MC16 Industry Placement.
In addition to completing all the above modules the student must complete 200
