Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of tasks in the marine industry. It is suitable for entry into the marine mechanical service and repair sector.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = thirty (30)- eleven (11) core units
- nineteen (19) elective units, of which:
- up to nineteen (19) elective units may be chosen from the elective units listed below
- up to five (5) units may be chosen from a Certificate II qualification or above in this Training Package or another endorsed Training Package or accredited course, provided that the units chosen contribute to the vocational outcome of this qualification and do not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification.
1. Core Units
All eleven (11) units must be completed.
2. Elective Units
Nineteen (19) electives must be completed, with at least fourteen (14) chosen from the list below.

Traineeships and Apprenticeships
