This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate the work of self and/or team in the film, television, radio and digital media industries.

Total number of units = fifteen (15)
- five (5) core units
- ten (10) elective units

Eight (8) elective units must be selected from the Group A and/or Group B and/or Group C units listed.

The remaining two (2) elective units may be selected from the elective units listed any endorsed Training Package or accredited course at the same level. If not listed below, one (1) of these units may be selected from an Advanced Diploma level qualification.

No more than two (2) elective units each may be selected from either the Group B or Group C units.

No more than four (4) elective units previously achieved can be counted towards the qualification.

Electives must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level.
