Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who analyse, design and execute judgements using wide ranging technical, creative, conceptual or managerial competencies in the animation industries. Their knowledge base may be specialised or broad. These individuals are often accountable for group outcomes.
Packaging Rules
Total number of units = Sixteen (16)
- Four (4) core units plus
- Twelve (12) elective units of which:
- at least nine (9) must be from the elective units listed below
- up to three (3) may be from this or any other currently endorsed Diploma or above Training Package qualification or accredited course.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the overall integrity of the AQF alignment, not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification, and contribute to a valid industry-supported vocational outcome.

3. Group A - Creation and Design Elective Units
To achieve the Content Creation and Design specialisation, six (6) units must be chosen from Group A and must include CUAPPR611 Originate a body of independent creative work and CUAPPR616 Extend expertise in a specialised art form to professional level.
To achieve the Specialist Make-Up Services specialisation, five (5) Group A elective units must be selected, coded CUAMUP.
